Reiki is a gentle yet powerful energy-based healing practice that supports the body’s natural ability to restore balance and regulate the nervous system. Through light touch or hands placed just above the body, Reiki works to calm the stress response, promote deep relaxation, and create the internal conditions needed for healing to occur.
Many people live in a state of chronic stress, where the nervous system is stuck in fight-or-flight. Reiki helps shift the body out of this pattern and into a parasympathetic state—often referred to as “rest and digest”—where repair, integration, and healing are possible. Clients often experience a sense of grounding, clarity, emotional release, and a deep feeling of safety and ease.
In my practice, Reiki can be experienced as a standalone session or integrated with bodywork, depending on your needs. While Rolfing works directly with the physical structure, Reiki allows me to work more subtly with the energetic and nervous system layers of the body. This combination can be especially supportive for those dealing with stress, anxiety, fatigue, emotional overwhelm, or those seeking a gentler approach to healing.
